An odd group
of ravers, young Goths and old batcaves have found
refuge in a run down house at the edge of town. As
the group prepares for a major party, couples form,
others break-up…
SQUAT is a celebration of the underground
life style, and a bitter sweet acknowledgement of
its shortcomings. All its young heroes crave for love,
but none of them is ready to give up anything in return.

I got the inspiration
for Squat from my friends and our wild parties. Metal
heads, acid-heads, Goths, ravers - I changed the names
to protect the innocent, but based all the characters
in the film on our lives… |

Coming from Comic
Books, I like my characters to be simple and "radical"
- sort of anti-Disney if you like. It’s a treatment
that works well with the personalities of our Squatters.
